Hi everybody,
Simon here. I turned up and bounced around on my new power 07s a couple of months ago. I turned my knee at the end of the session and have been out of action ever since. There ya go, new stilts + over-enthusiasm + hard springs + wobbly knee "cuffs" = disaster. So watch your knees, train at your level, dont use springs too high for your weight range and I think fixed shin braces. The 07 system with swiveling bolts and lots of velcro may work but its kinda too adjustable. Urm yeah I had fun trying front saults but my downfall was the Biriani? side sault thing I mis-stepped. My right toe turned in but my knee kept going. So I got tendon/ligament damage to my right knee. Doing occasional gigs on plasterers stilts. I still can't bend my knee all the way.
anyway thats my story, hope you're all functioning properly.
Keep on Bocking

Simon aka Lame Grasshopper..

Hey Simon,
I didn't get a chance to meet yu at that meet, but that doesn't sound to good. I hope you are on the mend now and things are getting better and not worse. Keep us updated if you can and that is a good reminder to everyone just how quickly something can happen.
